She thought she had it all…
Eighteen-year-old Joanie is a very materialistic, worldly young woman who thinks her life has it all: a new car, clothes, make-up and hairstyles, dances and rock music. Her path is set. A good summer job. Nursing school in the fall. An engagement to a nice Catholic boy.
Then one weekend, Joanie goes with friends to “look at the Amish” in a nearby rural community. There, she sees a lifestyle that has something her life is missing.
And she meets Jonas.
Two worlds confront each other and fall in love. But can Joanie leave behind all she has known and enjoyed in her city life? Or can Jonas turn his back on and leave the Amish life, community, and faith that has made him the man he is?
