The Abundant Life -A Women’s Study Guide of the Fruits of the Spirit

But the fruit of the Spirit is Gentleness, Faith, Peace, Joy, Goodness, Meekness, Love, Temperance, Longsuffering.

Doesn’t the word abundant sound appealing? I picture an established orchard, its trees faithfully bearing fruit for its owner. Such a scene speaks of purpose and fulfillment.
Deep inside, I find a longing to be abundant too. What would life be like if I could be, though on an exceedingly more important level, as flourishing as an established orchard? Is such a thing possible?
Yes! In John 10:10, Jesus says: ‘I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly’. God wants to bring me from barren to bountiful, pointless to purposeful.
Does your heart cry out with mine for such a life? Then please join me in searching the scriptures. Together, may we gain a deeper understanding of the abundance God holds out to each of us.
